We also speak with Irish author Nuala O'Connor about her new novel Miss Emily, which reimagines the private life of Emily Dickinson. She is the author of two other novels, The Closet of Savage Mementos and You, and has written four poetry collections, including most recently The Juno Charm.

Along with Sherman Wick, she has written several books about the Twin Cities, including The Insider's Guide to the Twin Cities and Walking Twin Cities.

We also chat with Deborah Levy-Bertherat about her debut novel The Travels of Daniel Ascher, translated from the French by Adriana Hunter. She teaches comparative literature at the École Normale Supérieure and has translated Lermontov's A Hero of Our Time and Gogol's Petersburg Stories into French.
